Mother and baby cuddling on the bed. natural light photography, Suffolk.

(Working hard on self portraiture this year, before maternity leave ends)

So nice to meet you, I'm Becky.

I was born and raised in beautiful Suffolk, and I’ve had a love for photography ever since I first picked up my grandad’s camera one summer afternoon as a child.

Since then, I’ve photographed weddings, businesses, dance shows, maternity sessions and newborns too. But it wasn’t until my little girl was born in June 2025 that my work took on a whole new heart.

Because suddenly, I wasn’t just seeing motherhood from the outside anymore.

I was in it. The blur of the early days. Running on no sleep, cold cups of coffee, 90% Oreos and milk-drenched newborn snuggles.

The overwhelming love. The constant need. The feeling that the days are impossibly long while somehow disappearing all at once.

And through all of that, I realised just how invisible so many mothers can feel in the early days - despite doing one of the hardest, strongest and most beautiful things imaginable.

That’s why my photography changed. I wanted to capture mothers at their most vulnerable, but also, in my opinion, their most beautiful and certainly their strongest.

Not perfect poses. Not pretending you’ve got it all together. Just the raw, natural connection between you and your baby.

The quiet, ordinary moments that so often pass by unnoticed - feeding, soothing, holding, pacing the kitchen, being climbed on, being needed, being everything to someone.

Because those are the moments that become the most meaningful later.

My sessions are gentle, relaxed and completely centred around your real life as it is right now. I want to hold the space for you, so that weeks, months or years down the line, when you’re finally able to pause and look back, you can truly see yourself in this season too.

Not just how tiny your baby was.

But how strong you were.

How deeply you loved them.

How much of yourself you gave.

So if you’re ready to step into the frame and preserve this incredible, beautiful, tiring, overwhelming season honestly and naturally, I’m here.

Come and say hello.

Who am I?

  • Wife to Nathan.
  • Mum to Emilia.
  • I drink iced lattes all year round because I'm fearless.
  • I absolutely love travelling and have spent years trying to tick off as many countries as possible… although having a baby has slightly slowed the pace. Turns out tiny humans prefer routines over spontaneous airport runs. Who knew?
  • When I’m not behind the camera, I’m usually in the kitchen cooking or baking and currently fully invested in the challenge of creating meals for my weaning daughter so she can try as many flavours as possible before she inevitably throws it all on the floor.
  • I have a degree in illustration, which has recently resulted in me painting giant colourful murals around our house.
  • I play guitar, sing and write songs.
  • I recently bought myself a vintage typewriter to write letters for Emilia to open when she’s older - partly because my handwriting is genuinely terrible, but mostly because it feels wonderfully romantic and very aesthetically pleasing.

Safe to say I’m a sentimental person by nature, which probably explains why preserving ordinary moments means so much to me.
