The Beauty of Real Life

If you're worried about your home not being tidy enough, your children not behaving perfectly, or not knowing what to wear, this is your reminder to let all of that go.

I don't photograph perfection. I photograph people.

The toys on the floor, the pile of washing in the corner, the crumbs on the sofa, the half-drunk cup of tea you've reheated three times - these are the details that make up your life right now. Years from now, they will tell the story.

I work exclusively with natural light, allowing your session to feel relaxed, comfortable, and true to life. There are no bright flashes or awkward poses, I focus on documenting the moments as they naturally unfold.

You don't need to buy a new outfit. You don't need to spend hours getting ready. You can wear your favourite dress, an oversized jumper, or even your pyjamas if that's what feels most like you. The most beautiful photographs come from feeling comfortable enough to simply be yourself.

If your children run wild, that's okay.

If the baby needs feeding, that's okay.

If someone cries, that's okay too.

In fact, it's more than okay.

Motherhood, family life, and those early newborn days are often messy, emotional, exhausting, joyful, overwhelming, and beautiful - sometimes all within the same five minutes. I welcome all of it.

My role isn't to create a version of your life that looks perfect. It's to preserve the love, connection, and emotion that already exists within it.

So leave the toys where they are. Leave the dishes in the sink. Take a deep breath and settle into the comfort of your own home.

The chaos isn't something we need to hide.

It's part of the story.
